Using this website or placing an order indicates your acceptance of the following terms & conditions. Please read them carefully.
Age Restriction
You must be 18 or over to purchase alcohol in the UK. By placing an order using this website the purchaser must tick the box to confirm that they are over 18 years of age.
Data Privacy
We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and we will keep all customers information that we collect completely confidential.
The information that we collect will be:
- Customer Name
- Customer Address
- Delivery Address (if different)
- Phone Number
- E-mail Address
- Additional Delivery Information (if applicable)
Using PayPal means that we do not need to know your credit/debit card details for any web sales.
Under no circumstance will we ever pass your details onto a third party. All information that we hold on you will be used for processing your order. We will only use this information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
If you wish to see the information we keep about you please contact us and we will send you a copy of the data free of charge. If there are any errors in the data we will amend the data without delay and if you wish we will remove the data immediately.
Prices
All prices shown on this website include VAT but exclude delivery charges. The prices shown may be liable to alteration at any time but those shown on the website will be valid at the time an order is placed.
Payment Options
If ordering goods via the website payment will be processed by PayPal and can be made using Credit Card, Debit Card or PayPal account.
If phoning in an order to the shop then a credit card, debit card, cheque or Moor & More Beer Gift voucher can be used to pay.
If paying in person in the shop then a credit card, debit card, cheque, Moor & More Beer Gift voucher or cash may be used.
Online Payments Processed by Paypal
Once you press the ‘Place Order’ button on the checkout page you will be transferred to a secure PayPal page to complete payment via credit card, debit card or Pay Pal account. Using this method means that Moor & More Beer does not need to receive any details of your credit/debit cards or PayPal account (if you have one).
Direct Payment by Credit / Debit Card
Please note that we accept the following cards:

Payment will not be processed until the goods are ready to be dispatched. Please note that the customer billing address must match the address that the card is registered to otherwise payment cannot be accepted.
Payment by Cheque
Cheques should be made payable to Lord Beer Limited (and not Moor & More Beer). Please note that mail order goods will not be despatched until the cheque has been cleared (this will be 2 to 4 working days after the cheque is banked). Payment should be sent to:

Payment by Moor & More Beer Gift Voucher
The voucher must be valid on the day the order is placed, i.e. there are still 12 months or less between the date printed on the back of the voucher and the date of your order. Unfortunately we cannot give change or a credit note for a purchase made with a gift voucher.
Delivery
We will not accept any orders for delivery outside the UK.
You should expect delivery within 14 days of placing an order though normally we will endeavour to complete delivery within 5 working days. If an item shown on the website is out of order we will always contact you to see what your requirements and advise on the time it will take to restock the item. You will be given the option to change the order or cancel the order for that item if you so wish. We will never send you ‘substitute’ items without your agreement first.
Deliveries will be made using the Parcelforce 48 service.
The cost of delivery to mainland UK (except the Scottish Highlands) for each case will be £7.99 (including VAT). Delivery can be made to the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly and the Channels Islands but this will be at an additional premium. If delivery is required to these areas please phone us first on 01752 222220 to discuss the extra charges and before placing your order.
The maximum weight of the parcel will be 30 kilograms which is quite a lot of beer or cider! The minimum order per case will normally be 12 bottles and initially the maximum number of beers per case will be 24 bottles. Please phone us on 01752 222220 if you have any special requirements that don’t meet this criteria.
You have the option to order goods, pay for them online and then collect them from the shop. No delivery charge will be made if you choose this option. We will phone you when your goods are ready for collection.
Returns & Damaged Goods
When receiving your delivery please check the case(s) before signing to accept delivery. If the cases (and goods) are clearly damaged then please do not sign for them. They will be returned to us at our expense. However, if after opening cases that appear OK you then find that goods are damaged or are not as per your order then we will replace them free of charge.
If you order goods in error and you wish to return them to us we will give you a refund but you will be expected to pay the cost of returning the goods to us. You must notify us of this within 7 working days of receiving the goods.
Cancelling Your Order
You may cancel your order before it is despatched for a full refund. Please send us an email (via the contact page on this website) or phone the shop on 01752 222220 to do this.
After your order has been despatched you can still cancel it within 10 working days of the date of order but you will have to pay the cost of returning the goods to us. A refund in this circumstance will only be made after the goods have been returned safely to us. If any items are lost or damaged in transit to us we will have to charge you for those. Payment for goods will refunded within 5 working days of the date of return.
